This prayer box pendant (which contains a page from the Koran) is acid etched and has soldered decorative balls. It is made of mixed metals, with high silver content (80% plus) on the front and a brass back. The wire loops can be removed if desired as the piece also has tubing across the back for stringing. The decorative center square on the prayer box swivels, and the pendant is in excellent shape except for signs of wear at the top tubing. Traditionally worn by men, this piece is from the early 1900s, is 70mm tall and 54mm across.
